Boreal Splat is a local-first Gaussian splat viewer and inspection tool for iPhone and iPad. Start with two included sample scenes, or open your own files from Files, iCloud Drive or AirDrop. OPEN AND INSPECT • View compatible PLY, SPZ and .splat files. • Open supported SOG v2 and KSPLAT v0.1 files. Use the in-app file picker for self-contained glTF/GLB Gaussian splat variants. These formats have compatibility limits; ordinary mesh models are not supported. • Check Gaussian count, spherical harmonics, compatibility and estimated memory before loading. • On iOS/iPadOS 27, open supported static USDZ splat files. EXPLORE YOUR SCENE • Orbit, pan, zoom, fit and reset the view. • Adjust background, exposure and rendering quality without changing the original file. • Save or share a screenshot. • Use iPad windows, keyboard shortcuts and pointer controls.
