Food Scanner: Calorie Count

About

Food Scanner turns a photo of your plate into a calorie and macro entry. You take the picture, the app identifies the meal, and calories, protein, fat and carbs appear in your diary. There is no barcode to scan, no database to search and nothing to type. The serving size is estimated from the photo, which means it is an estimate. Set it to the amount you actually ate and every number updates with it. Dish names, portions and whole meals can be edited or entered by hand at any point, so the diary stays accurate even when the first guess is off. Meals are grouped by day and counted against a daily calorie target you set yourself. The amount left for the day sits on the main screen. A recipe section is included: full calorie and macro breakdowns, ingredients and step-by-step instructions, filtered by breakfast, lunch or lighter meals. In the app: Photo recognition of cooked meals, not only packaged products Calories plus protein, fat and carbohydrates on every entry Portion adjustment with live recalculation Manual entry and editing of any logged meal A daily calorie target you set and change yourself Recipes with full nutrition breakdowns and instructions Subscription Information Premium is an auto-renewing subscription.
