About

The annual meeting lasts an hour. The school team arrives with data, a folder, and a plan. You arrive with a feeling that something is not working, and no way to show it. IEPBinder is the other half of that table. GOALS IN THE PLAN'S OWN WORDS Copy each goal exactly as written, with the baseline it started from. That baseline is the number every later claim of progress has to be measured against, and if the plan does not have one, that is itself worth asking about. YOUR OWN DATED OBSERVATIONS Log what you actually see at home, the day you see it, with anything countable in it. Mark each one as progress, no change, or a concern. Two months later you have a dated record instead of an impression, and dated records are what carry weight in a meeting. PROMISED VERSUS DELIVERED Record each week's promised minutes and what was actually delivered. The app keeps the running shortfall. This is the strongest thing a parent can bring, because it is arithmetic rather than opinion: anyone can follow it and reach the same number. THE COMMUNICATION LOG Every email, call, meeting and note home, with the date, who you spoke to and what was said. Flag the ones still waiting on a reply, because an unanswered request is its own evidence. QUESTIONS TO RAISE Write them down beforehand in the order you want to ask them. Meetings move fast and the important question is the one that gets forgotten. THE MEETING PACKET One printable PDF: the child and the plan, every goal with your observations underneath it, promised versus delivered with the total shortfall, the full communication log, and your questions. Print two, one for you and one for the table. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION Everything stays on your device. No account, no server, no sync. The school has no access to any of it unless you hand them the packet yourself. WHAT THIS IS NOT IEPBinder is your own record. It is not legal advice and it does not represent you or your child. For disputes and due process, talk to an advocate or an attorney who practises special education law where you live. FREE AND UNLOCKED One goal and five entries per list are free. The one-time unlock removes those limits and adds the printable meeting packet. One payment, no subscription.
