EY Songs plays one artist's own original songs. No charts, no recommendation engine, no ads — you open it and the songs are there. Line-by-line lyrics Lyrics light up one line at a time as the song plays, so you always see where you are. The story behind each song Why it was written, and who it was written for, gets its own page. The lyrics grew out of his own poems, and the poem's line breaks are kept exactly as written, because the breaks carry meaning. Works offline Downloaded songs play with no connection. Every file is verified by byte size and SHA-256, so a half-finished download never sits in your library pretending to be fine. Everything is free Every song plays in full and can be downloaded. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription and no ads. Everything you expect Background playback, Lock Screen and Control Center controls, AirPlay, a sleep timer, favorites and your own playlists, search, and share cards. Quiet by default No user profiling and no advertising. Analytics stays off unless you turn it on, and notifications only go out when there is a new song. You can browse, preview and listen without an account. Sign in with Apple only when you want favorites and purchases to follow you across devices, and Delete Account is right there in Settings whenever you want to leave. Available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.
