Most prayer apps cannot tell you why they said what they said. Arkan shows its working on every single time. SEE EXACTLY HOW EVERY TIME WAS CALCULATED Tap any prayer and Arkan opens its reasoning: the calculation method, the sun angle used, the high-latitude rule that applied, the madhhab for Asr, and every minute of adjustment. Nothing is hidden behind a menu you cannot inspect. CORRECT WHERE OTHERS QUIETLY ARE NOT Above 48 degrees latitude the naive rule collapses Fajr and Isha onto the same minute. Arkan refuses to render a collapse and escalates the rule instead, then tells you it did. During Ramadan in Makkah, Umm al-Qura moves Isha from Maghrib plus 90 minutes to Maghrib plus 120. Widely used libraries omit this, so many apps are half an hour wrong for a month in the one country where being wrong is least acceptable. Arkan applies it. QASR — SHORTENING PRAYERS WHILE TRAVELLING Set a home location and Arkan works out whether you are a traveller, using the distance thresholds and residence rules of your madhhab. It explains the ruling and never applies one without your confirmation. A QIBLA THAT SHOWS ITS MATHS True great-circle bearing with the distance to the Ka'bah, not a decorative arrow. THE WHOLE MONTH AT ONCE Every prayer for every day, so you can plan a week or check a date without changing anything. Your coordinates never leave your device, and there is no column in the database that could hold one. An optional account exists only to sync your own settings between your own devices. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, and no tracking of any kind.
