Turn a measured mari into a clear map before the first decorative stitch. Temari Atlas is a private, offline planning companion for makers working through the foundational marking stage of Japanese temari. It keeps ideal geometry, physical measurements, palette, progress, and notes together without pretending that one workflow fits every school or teacher. MAP SIMPLE AND COMBINATION DIVISIONS Choose Simple 4, 6, 8, or 10—or map the full C8 and C10 frameworks. Switch between the temporary base setup and final combination map, then rotate the reference globe to study labeled centers and full-circumference guide lines. Enter one measured circumference to see the corresponding bench measurements. C10 uses the exact spherical adjacent-center value while keeping the familiar traditional strip approximation visible as a secondary reference. CHECK THE PHYSICAL MARI Record four pole-to-pole routes and every base segment. C8 and C10 audits also check every neighboring main-center edge—12 for C8 and 30 for C10—and require each named opposite-center pair to be physically confirmed. Temari Atlas shows signed deviations, spread, missing checks, and outliers against a tolerance you choose from 1–3 mm. It reports an audit as complete only after every required measurement and confirmation passes. TAKE A STRIP TO THE WORKTABLE Create a 1:1 marking-strip PDF for US Letter or A4 with pin targets, setup marks, registration marks, and a 50 mm calibration line. Preview the actual PDF, then print or share it. Always print at 100% scale and verify the calibration line before using the strip. KEEP THE WORKFLOW TOGETHER Follow a division-specific marking checklist, move a project through workshop stages, try colorways, keep notes, duplicate or archive a project, and export or import an editable JSON backup. PRIVATE BY DESIGN After download, Temari Atlas works without an account or internet connection. There are no ads, analytics, tracking, subscriptions, in-app purchases, third-party SDKs, or developer-operated cloud service. Project data stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it. Temari methods vary. The globe and calculated values are planning references, not a replacement for direct measurement, instruction, or maker judgment. Decorative stitch patterns are outside this release. One purchase.
