EGK ElderCare Companion is a private, on-device edge agentic EGK AI (AIDA) companion app for aging parents and grandparents — built for the family member who checks in on them, and for the elder who wants a gentle daily rhythm. WHAT IT DOES - Daily Wellness Check-In — mood, sleep, appetite, and pain/discomfort logged in under a minute - Aida — a warm AI companion that reflects on each check-in with encouragement, never a diagnosis - Medication Reminders — local notifications for every dose, with simple Taken/Missed logging - Incident Log — record falls, dizziness, or other concerns as they happen - Pattern Flags — deterministic, rule-based alerts (e.g. "no check-in for 2 days," "3 missed doses this week") — never AI-guessed, always something you can verify by counting - Notify Family — pre-fills a message in the Messages app for you to review and send yourself; nothing is ever sent automatically or in the background PRIVACY BY DESIGN All health and wellness data — check-ins, medications, incidents, flags — is stored only on this device, excluded from iCloud backup, and never uploaded to any server. Aida's reflections run entirely through on-device AI (EGKAICore); no check-in content is ever transmitted anywhere. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync. IMPORTANT EGK ElderCare Companion is a wellness and reminder aid, not a medical device. It does not detect falls automatically and does not diagnose any condition. Aida offers gentle reflections only — for anything urgent, please contact family, a doctor, or emergency services directly. FREE, FOREVER — THE ESSENTIALS Medication reminders, dose logging, check-in logging, pattern flags, incident logging, and family notification are all fully free, with no limits, forever. Only Aida's AI-generated reflection on a completed check-in is part of ElderCare Pro, after 3 free reflections per day. ELDERCARE PRO — SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS ElderCare Pro unlocks unlimited daily Aida reflections. Two auto-renewing subscription plans are offered: - ElderCare Pro (Monthly) — billed every 1 month - ElderCare Pro (Annual) — billed every 12 months Exact pricing for your region and currency is displayed in the app before purchase, on the subscription screen, along with each plan's title and duration, in accordance with App Store Review Guideline 3.1.2. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your device. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
