Plot a route across a tactical sky map, balance battery against risk, then pilot each leg by choosing the altitude that fits the conditions. Tailwinds conserve power, solar lifts restore battery, signal beacons strengthen the link, and storms can turn a short route into a dangerous one. Restricted airspace is always off limits.
