About
TrackWatch answers the question you actually have on the platform: which track, and how long do I have? WHICH TRACK — BEFORE THE BOARD SAYS SO Track and platform numbers for 60 stations, including the Northeast Corridor from Washington to Providence, Los Angeles and the Pacific Surfliner corridor, and the Metro-North network across Connecticut and the Hudson Valley. At most of these the track is posted hours ahead — TrackWatch shows it the moment it appears. At New York Penn, where tracks go up at boarding, it appears the moment it's assigned. ALERTS AT THE STOPS YOU CHOOSE Pick one stop or several along the route, not just your destination, and set how many minutes of warning you want. Alerts are scheduled in advance and arrive even when the app is closed and your phone is locked — and they carry the track number with them. A LOCK SCREEN THAT KEEPS UP Your train's route sits on your Lock Screen, station codes strung along the line with a dot marking exactly where the train is now. It updates in the background as the train moves, so what you glance at is current — not where the train was when you last opened the app. HOME SCREEN WIDGET Follow up to five trains at once. Same route-line design, always current, no need to open anything. EVERYTHING YOU'RE FOLLOWING, IN ONE PLACE A Tracked tab showing every train you're watching, what alerts are armed on each, and where each one is — so you can adjust or stop following without hunting for the train again. LIVE MAP Real-time position, speed, heading and delay status on a live map. STATION BOARD A real departure board for any station in the network — train number, route, scheduled and estimated times, live status, styled after the boards in the terminal. FIND A TRAIN FAST Search by train number, route or station and start following in a couple of taps. DELAY STATUS AT A GLANCE The same colour coding everywhere: green for on time or early, yellow for a minor delay, red for a serious one. No fine print to decide whether to hurry. BUILT ON OUR OWN BACKEND TrackWatch runs its own service reading Amtrak's public data directly, and adds track and platform assignments collected from station departure boards. No third-party feed in the middle. This allows for great uptime, faster updates to you, and push notifications, live widgets, and more. NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT, NO DATA COLLECTION There is no sign-up. Your location is never transmitted. Nothing about you is collected or sold. TrackWatch Plus unlocks track and platform numbers, arrival alerts at the stops you choose, the home screen widgets and the Lock Screen Live Activity. Start with two weeks free, then $2.99 a month or $14.99 a year — or unlock it permanently with a one-time $49.99 purchase. Everything else — the live map, station boards, train search and delay status — is free forever, with no trial and no time limit. Subscription terms: TrackWatch Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, $2.99 per month or $14.99 per year, beginning with a two-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. The free trial is available once per Apple Account, and any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase the lifetime unlock. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
