About

Your feeds arrive as pages. The article is the only thing on the page: no menus, no ads, no sidebars, no cookie banners. You choose the sites, newest first, no algorithm. Pick up your Apple Pencil and write straight on the page. Circle a number, underline a sentence, or write in the margin. A finger turns the page while the Pencil draws. The app keeps every article you wrote on. Open it next month and your ink is on the page. YOUR FEEDS, AS PAGES Add any site by its feed address, or paste the site's own URL and let the app find the feed. Articles are set as fixed pages with wide margins, the way a printed page keeps room around the type. Pages don't reflow when you turn the iPad, so your ink stays where you put it. WRITE ANYWHERE ON THE PAGE You get a pen, a highlighter, and an eraser. Each one remembers its own color and width. Draw over the text, or out in the margin where there's room for a whole sentence. With an Apple Pencil the pen draws while your finger turns pages and taps as normal. Without one, switch on finger drawing and use that instead. YOUR INK IS KEPT Marks stay with the article. Close it, come back next week, and they are still there. Every stroke is tied to the words it sits beside, so changing the type size carries your ink along with the text. Open the Marks list to see everything you have written on an article and go straight back to any of it. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE There is no account, no sign-up and no password. Your feeds, what you have read and every mark you make are kept on the device you made them on. Broadsheet does not sync between devices: write on your iPad and those marks stay on your iPad. We do not operate a backend or a database, and nothing you read or write is sent to us or to anyone else. READ NOW, KEEP FOR LATER Save the articles you'll want to find again. Queue up the ones you don't have time for yet. Paste in any link to read a page from a site you don't even follow. BRING YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS Import your list from another reader with an OPML file, and export it the same way whenever you like. Any article you have written on can be exported as a PDF with your ink on it and the source credited. - iPad - No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no subscription - VoiceOver support and adjustable text size Reading is free and stays free, and so is writing on your first five articles. After that it's $9.99, once. No subscription.
