Dental Waterline Log helps a dental practice keep dental unit waterline (DUWL) treatment and testing records for every operatory in one place, instead of scattered across paper logs and spreadsheets. TEST, TREAT, RETEST — LINKED, NOT AUTOMATED Log a treatment (product name, lot, interval, who performed it — all as your practice enters them) and a test result (in-office kit or external lab, sample point, sampled and reported dates) against each operatory. When a result needs follow-up, you link that test, the treatment that followed, and the retest into one chain yourself — the app does not generate this chain automatically, so the sequence always reflects exactly what your practice did. RESULTS AS THEY ACTUALLY COME BACK A single test can include several samples, and each sample's result can be a number, a "below detection limit" flag, an "above range" flag, or free text — covering results like "below DL" or TNTC that don't fit a plain number. Your staff sets the status on any open item as follow-up required or closed by staff; there is no other classification. NO VERDICTS, NO RECOMMENDATIONS, NO PATIENT DATA Dental Waterline Log never classifies a result as safe or unsafe, and never recommends a treatment product or a testing interval — those decisions stay with your practice and, where appropriate, your equipment manufacturer or water-testing lab. The app stores manufacturer instructions and intervals exactly as your staff enters them, and it does not collect any patient information; it tracks equipment (operatories), not people. AN AUDIT-READY PDF PER OPERATORY Export a "Waterline Maintenance & Testing Log" PDF, sized for US Letter, listing treatments, test results with kit or lab identifiers, and the remediation chain for any result that needed follow-up — with a footer stating that all values are entered by practice staff. TRIAL AND UNLOCK The app is free to download, and every feature is available for a 7-day (168-hour) trial starting at first launch. After the trial, logging new treatments or tests is locked while your existing records remain viewable and exportable as PDF. The paywall — showing the price and a Restore Purchases button — is reachable at any time from Settings, during or after the trial. Purchasing the one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks the app permanently. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Dental Waterline Log works fully offline: operatories, treatments, test results and remediation links stay on your device and are never sent to a server. No patient data is collected at any point. Settings includes a backup feature that exports all records as a single ZIP file — keep a copy somewhere safe in case you change devices. Dental Waterline Log is a records tool for the maintenance and testing your practice already performs. It is not a regulated medical device, it makes no clinical or safety determination, and it is not a substitute for your equipment manufacturer's instructions or your water-testing lab's guidance.
