About

Tiko Sum is a friendly talking math app for children — and it is not a calculator: it never shows the result. Every key your child presses is spoken aloud ("three… plus… five…"), and the answer is always a choice between three big tiles. Pick the right one and the screen celebrates; pick another and Sum simply says the formula again — no buzzer, no red cross, no pressure. - A big speaking keypad: every number and symbol is read aloud in your language - The answer is a choice: three tiles, one right, two clever look-alikes - Plus, minus, times and divide, with a maximum number a parent can cap - Paths: playful rows of five sums, from first counting to times tables and fair shares - Three ways to answer: pick a tile, type the number, or say it out loud — a parent chooses in settings (tiles by default, and only saying it ever uses the microphone) - Every path is editable and parents can build their own - Speaks and counts in English, Dutch, French, Spanish, German and Maltese — including proper number words like "eenentwintig" and "quatre-vingt-onze" - Works offline after first use; no ads, no scores, no streaks - Child mode keeps the screen focused and distraction-free Tiko Sum is part of Tiko, a child-first universe of small, focused communication and learning tools.

What's new · 1.1

Sums now come in sizes. Pick how far the numbers go — 1-5, 1-10, 1-20, 1-50 or 1-100 — or an in-between band like 10-20, or a whole number family like the 2s or the 10s. Then choose add, subtract, multiply, divide, or a mix of all four. A round is ten sums, one straight after another, with no waiting in between. Free play is still there, at the foot of the list.
