About
Download free and try every feature for 7 days, a full 168 hours. Map your lodging property's safety equipment and walk self-inspection rounds with a normalized floor map. After the trial, one non-consumable purchase permanently unlocks the app with no recurring fee. StaySafe Check is a self-inspection recordkeeping tool for lodging property equipment. It maps what you have and tracks what you observed on your own walk-through; it does not determine fire-code compliance or replace a fire marshal, inspector, or other qualified professional. Start by drawing simple zone outlines for each floor or area, then place safety devices onto that outline: extinguishers, alarms, exit signage, or anything else you track, each with its own type, install date, status, and inspection item template. Marker positions are stored as normalized coordinates within a zone, so the same device appears in the same relative spot in portrait, landscape, or on a different device. Opening the map shows every zone and marker with due status at a glance, so a round starts from what needs attention rather than a flat list. Selecting a marker walks through its checklist in order, with answers limited to observed, needs attention, or not accessible plus a free-text note. A round moves from draft through walking to review to closed, and starting one snapshots the current devices, positions, and checklist items, so editing the live map afterward never rewrites what that round actually checked. Review collects every unanswered device and not-accessible answer in one place; a round cannot close until each has an answer or a stated reason. Needs-attention counts are shown by location so you can see where issues cluster, but the app never turns that into a compliance verdict, a fire-code judgment, or an operating decision. Once closed, a round's map and answers are fixed; a correction is added as a dated addendum referencing the original answer, never a silent edit. The exported PDF is a Property Safety Equipment Map & Owner Check Sheet: a two-thirds page zone map with a legend, then a numbered device list with observations, notes, and the round's date. Every page states this is a self-inspection record, not a fire inspection or proof of code compliance. StaySafe Check does not determine applicability of fire code, building code, or lodging regulations, does not set required equipment or inspection intervals, and offers no legal or safety advice. It never decides occupancy or operating eligibility from equipment status, and it does not notify guests, authorities, or any cloud service; every record stays where you put it. No account is required. Properties, zones, devices, marker positions, and rounds stay on your device with no cloud sync; export PDFs before replacing or removing the device and protect it with a passcode. The 7-day trial includes every screen: zone editing, device placement, rounds, review, and PDF export. After it ends, a single $9.99 purchase unlocks the app permanently, with no subscription. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account if already purchased. StaySafe Check keeps a clear, walkable record of what equipment exists and what you observed, so your own judgment and any official inspection stay exactly where they belong.
