Samurai Code

About

The code they lived by. Daily. SAMURAI CODE turns the real writings of Japan's greatest warriors — Musashi's Dokkōdō, the Hagakure, the Book of Five Rings, and Nitobe's Bushido — into a daily discipline practice. ONE PRECEPT A DAY — THE PATH Walk the Dokkōdō the way it was written: 21 precepts, one day at a time, in the original Japanese with faithful English translations and the story behind each line. Then the Five Rings. Then the Hagakure. WRITE YOUR OWN CODE Musashi wrote 21 rules. You write 1 to 3 — concrete, daily, binary. The app holds you to them. Your streak only advances on days you keep your code. No exceptions, one forgiveness a month. DAILY PRACTICE & REFLECTION Every precept comes with a concrete practice (keiko) and an evening reflection prompt (hansei). Your answers are kept in your Record — every day you have kept, in your own words. THE RANK PATH 7 days: Deshi. 30 days: Shoden. 90 days: Kirigami. One year of kept code: Mokuroku — a real certificate, hand-lettered, numbered, and mailed from Japan. Never sold. Only earned. REAL SOURCES, REAL FACES Every quote is from public-domain original texts, translated with care. Portraits of Musashi (self-portrait by his own hand), Nobunaga, Ieyasu, Ryōma and more. Free: one precept a week. The sworn train daily. SAMURAI CODE PRO (AUTO-RENEWABLE SUBSCRIPTION) Samurai Code Pro unlocks the full Path, daily practice, the Record, and the rank path.
