ASL Buddy

About

ASL Buddy is an interactive learning app designed to make American Sign Language easier to understand, practice, and remember. The app uses clear video-based lessons to help users learn common ASL signs in a simple and visual way. Lessons are organized into useful categories such as the alphabet, colors, numbers, animals, common phrases, and clothing, allowing users to focus on one topic at a time and build their skills step by step. Each lesson gives users the opportunity to watch signs being demonstrated and practice at their own pace. The app is designed for beginners, so the interface is simple, organized, and easy to navigate without unnecessary distractions. Users can move between lessons, review signs as many times as needed, and gradually become more comfortable recognizing and understanding different ASL signs. ASL Buddy also includes interactive quizzes that help users check what they have learned. Quiz questions use sign language videos and multiple-choice answers to encourage active recall instead of only watching lessons. After completing quizzes, users can track their results through the progress section, including completed quizzes, correct answers, overall accuracy, and learning progress. The goal of ASL Buddy is to provide an approachable starting point for anyone interested in learning American Sign Language. Whether you are completely new to ASL, reviewing signs you already know, or looking for a simple way to practice regularly, ASL Buddy provides a convenient learning experience that combines video lessons, practice, quizzes, and progress tracking in one place.
