NoOut isn't a habit tracker. It's a contract with yourself — enforced. Pick the apps that waste your time. Stake them. Then wait. At some unpredictable moment during your active hours, NoOut sends you a signal. You have a limited window to respond with the code it gives you. Miss it, and the apps you staked lock — for real, with no shortcuts, no "just this once." How it works • Choose the distracting apps you want to stay out of. • Set your consequence: how long they lock if you miss a signal. • NoOut checks in at a random moment — never the same time twice, so you can't just plan around it. • Respond in time, and you're safe until the next one. Miss it, and the lock kicks in immediately. Solo Mode Your own private, randomly-timed check-ins. Nobody else is involved — just you and the apps you staked. Global Mode Everyone in Global Mode gets the same signal, at the same moment, at the same time — no matter where they are or what time zone. That means it really can land at any hour, including while you're asleep, driving, or in the middle of something. We tell you this outright before you join, because we're not going to pretend otherwise: there's no safe window, no "we'll only ping you during the day." That unpredictability is the entire point. Shared stakes, not two separate games Solo and Global Mode protect the same staked apps. Miss a signal in either one, and you lose access in both — that's the deal you make when you join. Your streak history shows exactly which mode caused which loss, so you always know what happened and why. Trusted Contacts Invite someone to be notified when you succeed or miss a check-in. This is accountability, not monitoring — NoOut is not an emergency service, a safety monitor, or a guarantee that anyone will check on you. It's a nudge to whoever you choose, nothing more. Premium Solo Mode is free, always. NoOut Premium unlocks Global Mode, Trusted Contacts, and your full check-in history — monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. NoOut doesn't make you feel better about your phone habits. It makes breaking your word cost something.
