About
Dispersion draws your own shot pattern on the satellite map, wherever you are standing. It is not a shot tracker and not a subscription. You enter your carry and total distances once, and every club shows two linked ovals: where the ball lands, and where it finishes after the roll. Suddenly "aim at the left edge of the bunker" becomes a decision you can actually see. HOW IT WORKS - Drag the map to aim — a dashed line runs from your ball through the crosshair, far enough to sight off a distant tree or building - Two ovals for the selected club: yellow dashed for carry, white for total - Live distance to the crosshair, in yards or metres - Tap the locate button to place your ball at your GPS position; tap again and the map turns so your aim line runs straight up the screen, as you see it from the tee YOUR BAG, YOUR NUMBERS - Up to 15 clubs, driver to lob wedge, plus custom clubs - Set carry, total, width, depth, roll and shot shape for each one - One glanceable table — compare every club down a column - Starts with sensible defaults from published amateur dispersion data, so it is useful before you know your own numbers precisely ON THE COURSE - Works on any course in the world — nothing to download, no course database to wait for - Follows you as you walk, and the aim line keeps pointing down the hole between shots - Press and hold to plant a marker and measure a second distance: "if I lay up there, what am I left with?" - Note the wind on the compass, set by hand WHY IT HELPS Most golfers aim at the flag and are surprised by the miss. Seeing the real width of your pattern makes the sensible line obvious: how much of the fairway you actually cover, whether the water is genuinely in play, and which side of the green you can afford to miss. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No subscription. No ads. No tracking. Your clubs and settings are stored on your phone and nowhere else, and nothing is ever uploaded. Dispersion uses your location only to place your ball where you are standing. It is never stored or shared.
