Pera triples your reading speed by taking eye movement out of reading. Most of reading is not reading. It is your eyes jumping from word to word, drifting backwards, and hunting for the start of the next line. Pera takes all of that away: one word at a time, in one fixed spot on the screen. WHY IT WORKS Your eyes do not glide along a line. They jump and stop, jump and stop, and every jump is time not spent reading. Rapid Serial Visual Presentation removes the jumps by bringing the words to you instead. Each one is anchored on its optimal recognition point, the pivot letter your eye naturally lands on, so it registers the moment it appears.
