Sudoku Neo is classic Sudoku rebuilt as a focused, modern competition. Solve at your own pace in four difficulty levels, or take the shared Daily Challenge: one puzzle, one attempt, and one fair scoring formula for every player. Your score is calculated instantly on your device. If you finish offline, the result waits safely and is sent to Game Center when your connection returns. You get one attempt. A completed game can enter the recurring Game Center leaderboard; a lost game remains in your local statistics and is never submitted. Higher score ranks first, with faster time used as the deterministic tie-breaker. HOW SCORING WORKS Sudoku Neo rewards both solving speed and strategy: • Earn +100 points the first time you correctly fill an editable cell. • Completing all copies of a digit from 1 to 9 awards a bonus based on the digit coefficient (×0.92…×1.08), its initial workload, completion order, and the focused time between its first and last correct placement. • Completing a 3×3 box awards a speed bonus plus a clean-box bonus when no mistake was made inside it. • Completing a digit and a 3×3 box with the same move awards a combo bonus. • Winning awards a final pace bonus. • Every mistake costs −200 points and every revealed hint costs −100. • The result is multiplied by difficulty: Easy ×1.00, Medium and Daily ×1.15, Hard ×1.35, Expert ×1.60. • The score never drops below zero. A third mistake ends the game, and a loss is not submitted to the daily leaderboard. The formula is identical for every player and stored with a version number, so future updates do not change previously earned results. MONETIZATION Sudoku Neo is free. Interstitial ads appear only at eligible breaks between completed games, never during a puzzle. Optional rewarded ads can unlock additional hints after the two free hints in a game. A single non-consumable in-app purchase permanently removes interstitial and rewarded advertising; gameplay and scoring stay unchanged.
