Connecting to a host now times out quickly instead of appearing to hang, and if a phone can't reach the host you'll get a plain message explaining what to check (everyone must be on the same Wi-Fi, or joined to the host's personal hotspot). • Smoother permissions. The app now explains and asks for Local Network and Camera access up front, so finding nearby games and scanning a room QR code work the first time. Gather your friends in one room and let your phones run the whole game of Mafia (Werewolf). One phone hosts over your local Wi-Fi or a personal hotspot; everyone else joins by scanning a QR code or entering a room code. There is no cloud, no sign-up, and nothing leaves your devices. The built-in moderator handles everything: it secretly deals roles, runs the night, resolves actions, tallies votes, and calls the winner, so nobody has to sit out as narrator. Play at your own pace: the night ends when every acting role has moved and discussion never forces you forward.
