About

itmux is a fast, modern SSH terminal built around tmux. Connect to your servers, attach to real tmux sessions that keep running when you disconnect, and pick up exactly where you left off — from iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Unlike a plain SSH client, itmux speaks tmux natively. It uses tmux control mode to show your sessions, windows, and panes as first-class UI, so switching context is a tap instead of a memorized shortcut. KEY FEATURES • Native tmux integration — attach to and create sessions, switch windows, and split or navigate panes without typing prefix keys. • Persistent sessions — your work keeps running on the server; reconnect any time and everything is still there. • Flexible SSH auth — connect with a password, an on-device SSH key, or your SSH agent. A key pair is generated and stored securely in the Keychain; only the public key ever leaves your device. • Fast, full-color terminal — a responsive renderer with true-color support and a touch-friendly key bar for Esc, Ctrl, arrows, and other keys phones don't have. • Tabs and windows — keep multiple sessions in tabs; on Mac, tear a tab off into its own window. • Remote file browser & editor — browse the server's filesystem and edit files in a built-in editor, without leaving the app. • Host-side notes — keep quick notes stored on the server alongside your work. • Built-in VNC viewer — open a remote desktop in a standalone window over your SSH tunnel. • Voice dictation — hold to speak a command straight into the terminal (iOS). • 14 languages — the whole interface localizes and switches instantly.
