About
Skyballast is a one-touch balloon game about riding the right wind. You cannot steer left or right. You can only climb or descend, and each altitude band carries the balloon sideways at its own speed and direction. HOW IT PLAYS - Tap above the balloon to climb, tap below it to descend. Each tap adds a little vertical speed that fades out. - Eight wind bands carry the balloon sideways. Each band's label shows its altitude, direction and speed: most carry it to the right, and two higher bands drift it slowly left. Drift off one side of the chart and it comes back on the other. - Fly through ring gates to collect them. Each flight has four gates. - Touching the top or bottom of the chart bounces the balloon back and costs one of your three lives. - Back-to-back gates build a chain multiplier, and passing close to a gate's center earns more stars. - Collect the flight's gate target to move on. The target starts at three and rises in later flights. CAMPAIGN - 60 flights on a campaign map that shows your stars and best scores. All flights use the same wind bands and gate positions; later flights ask for more gates. - Progress stays on your device. DAILY AND LAB - Daily: each date selects one campaign flight for everyone, worked out on your device without an account or server. - Flight Planner: a small practice panel with two sliders and an icing switch that shows how wind alignment and lift reserve change a confidence score. ALSO INCLUDED - Five on-device achievements and a player records page. - Haptic feedback switch. - Works offline on iPhone and iPad. - No ads, subscriptions, in-app purchases, accounts, analytics, weather data or tracking. Skyballast is an abstract arcade puzzle game, not a flight planning tool.
