Verso - The News App

About

Verso turns the day's news into short, clear briefs. When dozens of outlets cover the same event, Verso reads the coverage, groups it into one story and writes a brief you can finish in under a minute. Every source stays one tap away. TODAY'S BRIEF Ten top stories every morning, about four minutes to read. Swipe through, save what matters, and see what's coming in the next edition. HOME The biggest stories of the day, ranked by how many outlets are covering them, not by clicks. Then what's rising, the latest news, category rails and local news near you. FEED Full-screen briefs, one at a time. Swipe to the next story; stories you've read stay out of the way. Tap More like this or Less like this to tune it. EVERY SOURCE Each brief shows the outlets behind it. Open the original articles whenever you want the full reporting. FOLLOW THE STORY Major events keep a timeline of every development, so you can catch up on the whole story in order. THE INDEX Search and follow people, places and topics. For You ranks stories from what you follow. ALERTS THAT RESPECT YOUR TIME Breaking news only when a major story breaks, up to three a day, with quiet hours at night. Or get one Daily Brief notification at the time you pick. Add local alerts for your city. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Open your iPhone Duo and stories spread across two pages: the photo, coverage, timeline or people on one side, the brief on the other. Today's Brief reads like a book. ALSO • Home Screen widgets for Rising, Latest and Near you • Saved stories and your feed work offline • Read as a guest; no account needed • Optional Sign in with Apple or Google to sync saves, follows and your city • Local news uses your city only; precise location stays on your phone Briefs are AI-written summaries of real publisher coverage, and sources are always shown.
