About
DARKO is a digital darkroom for photographers who still think in film. Import RAW or JPEG photos — or full videos — and develop them by hand with film treatments, tactile dials, grain, borders, and a numbered drawer of 260 light leaks and film burns. Everything happens on-device. No uploads, no accounts, no cloud. The darkroom is three simple steps: pick a film look, fine-tune it on the adjust bench, then finish with borders and overlays. Swipe between photos without leaving the bench and develop the whole roll in one sitting. The adjust bench gives you real control: light, color, a full color mixer, grading wheels, fade, bloom, halation, push/pull, and a grain engine you can switch off in one tap. Finish with ink borders, instant-photo frames, backdrop paper, and authentic film-scan edges. Motion Darkroom brings the darkroom to video. Apply living film treatments with a strength dial and drifting grain, then watch your footage breathe like real stock — not a filter slapped on top. Save any formula as a Recipe and reapply it instantly, or batch-develop up to 36 frames at once. RAW and JPEG development happens entirely on-device, with full undo/redo and side-by-side compare so you always see what changed. DARKO Pro unlocks the full darkroom for $6.00/month or $39.99/year (about $3.33/month, save 44%), both with a 7-day free trial. Stop filtering.
