MichiLoop is a private road-trip journal that brings route planning, GPS ride logging, photos, and memories together for motorcycle and car journeys. PLAN THE JOURNEY Choose a start, destination, and stops, then review a route along roads with estimated distance and time for each day. Keep arrival targets, breaks, and a preparation checklist with the plan. Duplicate an earlier plan when you want to travel it again without changing the original. PREPARE BEFORE DEPARTURE Review temperature, feels-like temperature, precipitation chance, wind, and gusts for planned places and times. Your next journey and preparation progress are also available in the home and Lock Screen widgets. START WITHOUT A PLAN On an unplanned day, start a ride log right away. While recording, Live Activities show elapsed time, distance, and GPS status. End the session when safely parked, then choose what to keep in your journal. BUILD A PRIVATE TRIP JOURNAL Save the route and distance you traveled with photos, videos, voice notes, visited places, and reflections. Review journeys by date and vehicle, and create a shareable image only when you choose to share it. IMPORT AND EXPORT GPX Use key points from a GPX file to begin a plan, or export the main points of a saved plan as a GPX route. Your data is stored on your device and synced to your private CloudKit database when iCloud is available. No MichiLoop account is required. For safety, never operate your device while riding or driving. Stop in a safe place before using the app. Routes use Apple MapKit automobile or cycling directions according to the selected vehicle. When cycling directions are unavailable, the app shows an automobile route that avoids highways as a reference. Routes do not guarantee access, safety, or current road conditions for any vehicle. Confirm routes, weather, opening hours, and official road information before departure.
