DayLine — One Line Journal

About

One sentence. That's the whole habit. DayLine is the journal you'll actually keep. Write a single line about your day, and next year, on the same date, it shows you what you wrote. Your years stack up, one honest sentence at a time. WHY IT WORKS • One line takes 20 seconds, so the habit survives busy days • "On this day" brings back what you wrote a year ago, and the year before that • A gentle reminder at the time you choose. If you already wrote today, it stays quiet ON THIS DAY Open the app on any date and see the same date from your past years right under today's line. A birthday, a first day at work, an ordinary Tuesday you would have forgotten. This is what a paper five year diary does, without carrying the book around. CALENDAR AND TIMELINE The calendar shows which days have a line, month by month. The timeline is your journal as one long scroll. Tap any day to read it again. WIDGET Put today's line on your Home Screen. The medium widget also shows what you wrote one year ago. WHO IT IS FOR • You tried journaling and quit because a blank page asked too much • You want a 5 year diary that fits in your pocket • You keep a gratitude journal and one good thing a day is enough • You have one minute, not twenty PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. Lock the app with Face ID. Back up and restore your journal anytime. SIMPLE PRICING Free forever: write every day with no limits, your last 30 days, On this day, reminders, the widget and backup.
