Want to laser engrave a photo on wood, slate, leather or a tile? Engravly turns any photo into a dithered black-and-white PNG, sized in millimetres at your engraver's DPI, ready to import into your laser software. Pick a photo, choose a dither style, adjust brightness and contrast while the preview updates, set the width and DPI, then export. • FIVE DITHER STYLES — Floyd–Steinberg, Jarvis, Stucki and Atkinson error diffusion keep photo detail; Threshold gives clean solid shapes for logos and text. • BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, INVERT — fine-tune the tones with a live preview, and invert the image for dark materials or the white-tile method. • SIZED IN MILLIMETRES — set the width from 20 to 300 mm; the height follows the photo. See the exact pixel size and mm dimensions before you export. • YOUR ENGRAVER'S DPI — 254, 300, 318, 508 or 600 DPI (about 0.1, 0.085, 0.08, 0.05 and 0.042 mm line interval). The PNG is tagged with that DPI, so laser software imports it at the right physical size. • PURE BLACK AND WHITE — every pixel in the PNG is either black or white, so there are no grey tones for the laser to guess at. • BATCH EXPORT — with the unlock, pick up to 50 photos and export them all with the same settings. Honest scope: Engravly prepares raster PNG files only — it does not make vector or SVG files, crop or remove backgrounds, or control your laser. Photos are picked from your Photos library.
