LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN Original and journal photos remain on your device. When you explicitly run online analysis, a resized scan photo is securely processed by Google Gemini and is not added to Sproutkind cloud storage. Structured garden records, care history, scan metadata, and city preference use a private anonymous Firebase identity for backup and sync. Meta receives limited activation, paywall-view, and verified initial-subscription events for aggregate measurement; advertising-ID and automatic-event attribution stay off unless you grant iOS tracking permission after onboarding. Cloud data can be permanently deleted from Settings. Plant identification and health guidance are educational closest-match estimates, not professional botanical, medical, veterinary, or poison-control advice.
