About
Shardgrid is a private mosaic planner for artists, installers, and workshop makers who need numbers before spreading adhesive. Define the field and optional border, enter the actual tessera size and joint, compare layout counts, add a user-controlled cutting and breakage reserve, reconcile palette stock, and build a quote from material and labor inputs. A geometric canvas makes the plan legible without pretending to replace a full CAD package. KEY FEATURES - Field, border, and tessera layout math - Joint-aware row and column estimates - Count, area, reserve, stock, and cost calculations - Palette and project records - Optional local reference photos through Apple's Photos picker - Local PDF bench brief - 175 offline mosaic reference plates - No account, ads, analytics, tracking, subscription, or network requirement Shardgrid plans quantities from your inputs. Confirm substrate, setting materials, movement, waterproofing, and site requirements independently.
