Chordyne

About

The moment it finally clicks. There is a song in your head. Between you and it: learning chords, drilling scales, getting your fingers to obey. By the time you could play it, the idea is long gone. Chordyne turns that around. Pick a chord with your left hand. Play with your right. Everything you touch fits. There are no wrong notes, because none of them are on the surface. Ten seconds in, you sound like someone who has been doing this for years. YOU PLAY, THE BAND FOLLOWS Bass, drums and arpeggios lock onto the chord under your finger. You change it, they come with you, in time, with nothing to set up first. One finger turns into a whole arrangement. YOUR IDEA SURVIVES THE RIDE HOME The best hook shows up on the bus, on the sofa, at half past one in the morning. Record a loop, let it run, stack the next part on top. Four song sections you jump between while you play. What was humming a minute ago is a track now. YOU START HEARING WHY MUSIC WORKS Under every pad sits the role that chord plays in the key. You never have to read it. But one day you notice it anyway, and suddenly you know why that one change in the chorus hits so hard. The borrowed chords are right there for the moment you want to catch people off guard. ONE TAP, A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MOOD Warm eighties synths. Jazz voicings where every chord sounds like a bar at midnight. A Persian set with notes a piano does not even have. You pick a feeling, and the rest falls in behind it. ALWAYS WITHIN REACH On the iPhone on your commute. On the iPad when you mean business. On the Apple Watch for the melody that arrives while your phone is in your pocket. BUILT AROUND YOUR HANDS Keys you still hit when the bus brakes. Nothing flashes, nothing nags, nothing wants an account from you. Open it, press a chord, go. Whether you have played for thirty years or never held an instrument: after the first minute you will not want to put it down. Made in Germany by Akustikrausch.
