About

VibraLens performs live, on-device vibration frequency analysis from high-frame-rate video. Point the camera at a machine body or structure that is between 1-120Hz and VibraLens processes high-frame-rate video on the device. A frequency-colored overlay shows where periodic vibration is detected, while the live readout reports the dominant frequency in Hz. Use VibraLens to: • Locate vibration across motors, fans, pumps, HVAC equipment, structures, and work surfaces • Compare vibration regions using a consistent frequency color scale • Read the current dominant frequency in Hz • Adjust sensitivity, overlay visibility, and the measurement range in real time • Use the built-in torch when the scene needs more light • Record the live view and overlay to Photos Measurement quality depends on light, image contrast, camera stability, sustained frame rate, and the motion being observed. Compatible devices can analyze frequencies up to a reliable maximum near 115 Hz; VibraLens reports a lower limit when the available frame rate requires it. All analysis happens on your iPhone. VibraLens has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking, and it does not send camera frames or recordings to a server. VibraLens is a visualization tool. It does not replace a safety inspection or a calibrated contact instrument. Never attach an iPhone to vibrating machinery.
