BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Works offline in crawl spaces, basements, and dead zones. Try dictation once while you have a signal, in case Apple's speech model needs a one-time download. • Start from the built-in residential template: 12 sections and 64 checklist items, with guidance on every item • One-tap item ratings (Inspected / Not Inspected / Not Present / Deficient) sized for gloved hands • Rapid-fire camera drops photos straight into the right finding, with one-tap arrow, circle, and box markup • Flag-for-later: shoot now, finish the write-up in the driveway • Runs on iPad too: the same offline workflow on the bigger screen AI THAT KNOWS ITS PLACE • Dictate what you see; on-device AI drafts the narrative using your own comment library as its guide • Nothing enters your report until you approve it. Every draft waits for your sign-off. • No per-report fees and no metering on AI drafts. • AI drafting needs Apple Intelligence turned on and a supported device: iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an iPad with an M1 or A17 Pro chip or later. On other devices, Rafter uses your dictated words as you said them. Dictation and everything else don't need Apple Intelligence and run on iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 and later. THE REPORT • Branded HTML + paginated PDF: severity-sorted summary, per-section checklists, embedded marked-up photos • State notice packs: Rafter prints state-required report statements for 17 states (some only when you mark them as applying) and shows in-app reminders of report rules for 15 more (reviewed September 2026). They are drafting aids; meeting your state's requirements is still up to you. • Repair-request addendum builder with requested credits • Copy findings as text for quick agent emails YOURS. ACTUALLY YOURS. • No accounts. No servers. Your inspections, photos, and reports stay on your iPhone or iPad and in your own device backups. They don't sync between devices. • No ads or third-party offers, in the app or in your reports. Ever. • Reports you've already made stay open, editable, and exportable, even if you never buy. PRICING • Your first three inspections are free and full-featured, no card needed. The sample inspection doesn't count toward them. After that, starting a new inspection takes Rafter Monthly or Founder Lifetime. • Rafter Monthly: $24.99 a month, charged to your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings. • Or Founder Lifetime: $399.99 once, no renewal, limited to the first 100 inspectors. When they're gone, lifetime is gone. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Rafter app, not of a person or device (Terms, section 9).
