BedMosaic is an offline-first garden planner built around explicit assumptions and reviewed planning rules. Start with a complete fictional 4 × 4-foot sample, place lettuce, basil, and marigold, resolve one spacing conflict, and leave with a calm three-week plan—without an account, payment, location, network, notification, photo, or private input. BedMosaic stores measurements locally and never pretends to know live weather. PLACE WITH INSPECTABLE SPACING Use a top-down map, planning measurements, spacing rings, conflict layers, undo and redo, and equivalent list controls. Drag is optional. Every proposal remains editable and reversible. 120 REVIEWED PLANT DEFINITIONS Browse 12 plant families with planning spacing, sow depth, maturity ranges, conservative companion cautions, harvest cues, region scope, reviewer, and source references. The first 30 definitions are included free. BUILD A CHECKED SEASON PLAN Choose known plant IDs, a goal, a yield-preference range, and succession slots. BedMosaic's deterministic planner is always available. On supported devices, an optional on-device suggestion uses only bounded planning inputs and must pass the same geometry and date validator. FOLLOW ONLY WHAT HELPS NOW Keep sow, transplant, thin, support, water, check, harvest, and custom tasks. Complete, defer, edit, and undo without streaks, hidden urgency, or guessed weather. Optional reminders use a generic notification with no garden details. KEEP A PRIVATE GARDEN RECORD Save dated observations and harvest quantities locally. Optional imported photos are copied without source camera or location metadata. BedMosaic does not diagnose pests or disease, recommend chemicals, judge edibility, or provide food-safety advice. EXPORT BEFORE YOU SHARE Generate a selectable bed-map PDF locally before opening the system share sheet. Pro adds task-list CSV and a validated ZIP season archive. Nothing leaves until you choose Share. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Garden names, dimensions, coordinates, frost dates, notes, photos, harvest quantities, varieties, filenames, plans, and exports remain in the private local app container and never enter analytics. There is no account, social feed, location lookup, live-weather service, remote model, background upload, marketplace, or app-content cloud sync.
