Belote Contrée, also known as Coinche, the classic French trick-taking card game, with the real rules. Free to play, solo offline against the computer or online with friends. You (South) and your partner (North) face two opponents: bid, double, redouble and make your contract. NEW TO BELOTE? A TUTORIAL TO LEARN Ten short, interactive lessons with real cards: trumps, bidding, following suit, ruffing, overtrumping, helping your partner, belote and the last trick. Every answer is explained, then you move straight on to a first game in Easy mode. THE FULL RULES • Bidding from 80 to 160, then Capot (250), with a choice of trump suit. • Contre, or double (×2), and Surcontre, or redouble (×4). • Strict play obligations: follow suit, ruff, and overtrump when required. • Belote and Rebelote (King and Queen of trumps): +20 points, flagged on screen. • Last-trick bonus, scoring to 162, standard order and values (Jack 20, Nine 14, Ace 11, Ten 10). PLAY SOLO AGAINST THE AI, NO INTERNET NEEDED • Easy: perfect for learning Coinche or getting back into it. • Normal: an even match, like a game at the local café. • Hard: the AI remembers every card played, tracks the master cards and draws trumps. Solo play works fully offline: on the train, on a plane, anywhere. PLAY ONLINE, FOUR-HANDED Quick match with players from around the world, or a private game with friends using a shareable code, through Game Center. Empty seats are played by the computer, and if someone leaves the table a bot steps in: the game never stops. No chat: just play. BUILT FOR COMFORT • Adjustable target score: 500, 1000 or 1500 points. • Permanent info bar: current trump and each team's trick points. • Automatic save: pick your game back up whenever you like. • Statistics, a complete rules screen, sound and haptics (both optional). • Vector card art, crisp on every screen. • Fully accessible with VoiceOver. MAKE THE TABLE YOURS Earn coins every game and spend them in the shop: 16 card backs, 7 table felts and 6 card styles: three fully illustrated decks (French Court, Menagerie, Art Deco), four colors, and a large index for easy reading. At the end of a game, an optional video doubles the coins you just won. Coin packs are also available as in-app purchases. FREE, NO ACCOUNT, NO BANNER Contrée is free and needs no account. There are no banner ads: the game is funded by an ad between some rounds, never while you are playing your cards. Rather do without? The one-time "Ad-free" in-app purchase removes the between-round ads for good. You can also watch a video to play ad-free for 30 minutes.
