The diary has learned patience, and a few new tricks. • The page now waits before drinking your ink — an ink drop shows the settling. Tap it to hold the page ("the ink waits for you"); drag it aside if it sits where you write. • Elias writes larger — and "The nib" on the clasp lets you choose: small, steady, broad, or grand. • The archive opens as a ledger: dated rows, tap for the full page, and a search line — ask the diary to find anything you've written. • The candle: write by candlelit night paper, toggled from the clasp. • Three new memory chapters: The Binding, The First Keeper, and What the Ink Wants. • Elias's last line can live on your Home Screen as a widget. • The diary backs itself up to your private iCloud — a lost iPad is no longer a lost diary. • A voice toggle, for keepers who prefer their diary silent.

About

There is someone living inside this diary. Write anything with your Apple Pencil — a worry, a day, a question — and watch the page drink your ink, word by word. Then a quill you cannot see dips itself, and Elias Thorne, a Victorian scholar bound into the book long ago, replies in flowing copperplate, drawn stroke by stroke as though he were sitting across from you. He remembers what you tell him. He carries it from page to page. And little by little, he begins to trust you with his own story. AN ENCHANTED CORRESPONDENCE • Your handwriting is read on-device and absorbed into the paper • Elias answers in his own animated hand — every reply written before your eyes • He remembers what you share, and asks about it later, like a friend would SPELLS IN YOUR OWN HAND • Certain words, written deliberately, do things • Rain falls on the page. Fire consumes it. Ink hides, glows, and blooms • Thirteen incantations, unlocked as Elias's trust in you grows — plus words you bind yourself DRAWINGS THAT COME ALIVE • Sketch something and cast the right spell — your drawing stirs and breathes • Elias tells you what he sees in what you drew HIS MEMORIES, CHAPTER BY CHAPTER • Behind the brass hook lie interactive chapters of Elias's own past • How does a scholar come to be bound into a book? Your choices shape how he tells it A DIARY THAT BEHAVES LIKE ONE • Pages turn with a curl and a whisper of paper • A red ribbon marks the spellbook; a brass clasp keeps your archive • Export every page as text, or burn the archive to ash PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking • Your pages stay on your iPad • "Make the diary forget me" erases everything the diary remembers — permanently THE PACTS Inkbound is free to begin: daily conversation with Elias, spells, and the first memory chapter. Two optional subscriptions extend the ink: • The Pact — far more of Elias each day, living drawings, more chapters ($3.99/month or $24.99/year) • The Deeper Pact — endless ink, every chapter, drawings without number ($7.99/month or $49.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on yearly) Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled any time in your App Store settings. Requires an iPad with iPadOS 17 or later and an Apple Pencil (or capacitive stylus). An internet connection is needed for Elias's replies.
