Nocturne: HRV & Sleep

About

Nocturne gives you a detailed view of every night on your Eight Sleep mattress — and exports that data to Apple Health, including the one metric your mattress never syncs on its own: HRV. EXPORT TO APPLE HEALTH Your smart mattress doesn't natively export HRV. Nocturne fills that gap, with two modes: • Full Time Series — ~70–100 individual HRV readings taken every 5 minutes through the night, the same granular format Apple Watch uses. • Computed Average — a single nightly HRV value that matches the number in your sleep app exactly. Export HRV on its own, or everything: heart rate, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep stages. AUTOMATIC MORNING SYNC Nocturne quietly syncs each morning, so your data is in Apple Health before you open your recovery app. WORKS WITH YOUR RECOVERY APPS Bevel, Athlytic, and similar apps calculate readiness and recovery from Apple Health data. Nocturne makes your HRV and sleep stages available to all of them — automatically. BULK BACKFILL Just got Nocturne? Export months of Eight Sleep history in one tap. Set a date range and backfill everything at once – perfect for tracking trends to get the most out of recovery apps. EVERY NIGHT, FULLY ANALYZED Your latest night greets you the moment you open the app — HRV, sleep duration, resting heart rate, and breathing rate at a glance, with a color-coded sleep-stage hypnogram. Open any night for the full picture: HRV charted across your sleep, deep/REM/light/awake stages, heart rate, respiratory rate, and room-vs-bed temperature curves your sleep app never charts for you. TRENDS OVER TIME Track your average HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep duration across 7, 30, or 90 days. Watch your recovery baseline move — and know whether it's heading the right way. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nocturne runs no servers. Your credentials go directly to your sleep account, your session token lives only in your device's encrypted Keychain, and everything is processed on-device before it's written to Apple Health. Nothing is collected, tracked, or stored anywhere else. FREE TO START Sync 7 nights free — no time limit.
