Omikuji Fortune

About

One visit a day. A shrine in your pocket. Omikuji is the traditional Japanese fortune slip, drawn at shrines for centuries. This app brings the whole ritual to your morning — thirty quiet seconds before the day begins. ■ The Daily Ritual 1. Pass the vermilion torii gate 2. Shake the wooden kuji box — feel it rattle 3. The stick slides out, the paper unfolds 4. Your fortune for the day is revealed One draw per day, just like a real shrine. Come back tomorrow. ■ Eight Fortunes From the legendary Dai-Daikichi (Supreme Blessing, 1% — some go years without drawing one) down to Daikyo (Great Misfortune, said to use up all your bad luck at once). Each slip includes: · Your overall fortune, written in the voice of a shrine oracle · Love, Work, Health, Travel and Money — each with its own reading · A lucky item, lucky color and lucky number, all delightfully Japanese · A closing proverb to carry through the day ■ Tie Your Misfortune Drew a bad slip? Do what people in Japan have always done: tie it and leave it at the shrine. The app lets you perform the gesture — and your reading softens, because the bad luck stays behind. ■ Keep Coming Back · Visit streaks — how many mornings in a row? · A collection log of every fortune you've drawn · A shareable fortune card, beautifully designed on washi paper · An optional morning reminder ■ Seasonal Shrine Themes The daytime Hinoki shrine is free. One small purchase unlocks Night Sakura, Snow Viewing and Sunset Glow — forever. No subscription, no ads. ■ Quiet by Design · Free to use every day · Works fully offline · English and Japanese · No accounts, no tracking Start tomorrow with a little ceremony.
