Forge steel, draw a hamon, and polish your own Japanese sword. Choose the length, curvature and one of five tip styles, comparing the full blade and its tip. Aim your hammer strikes, draw a fine temper line, time your quench and polish the blade to reveal its finish. Each finished sword receives an appraisal based on forging and quenching. The appraisal is a score, not money: swords cannot be sold or exchanged for currency. Save new swords to earn fitting sets. Mix scabbards, guards and wraps across 19 sets and 57 parts. Unlock a set for 100 coins, or all fittings for 1500 coins. Craft with classic tamahagane, or preview five special finishes: gold, Damascus, meteorite, obsidian and carbon. Unlock a special material for 200 purchased coins, or all five for 800. Each unlock enables unlimited crafting. Some materials are artistic interpretations. Purchases do not increase appraisal scores. Name your saved blades and inspect them in 360 degrees, with zoom and full-screen viewing. Arrange your favorite sword, background and lighting to save or share a wallpaper. Core play and wallpaper creation are free. Optional rewarded ads offer things such as more crafting materials. Every fitting set can be earned by crafting without purchasing it. Special materials require purchase. Restore purchases recovers previous non-consumable entitlements, not spent coins. Your sword collection and earned progress are stored on your device. Earn coins from your first saved blade each day and daily skill challenges. Earned coins unlock fittings; special materials require purchased coins. Coin packs are available through in-app purchases. Automatic commentary describes your craftsmanship and hamon. Optionally submit your best appraisal to a Game Center player leaderboard. Appraisal values are scores, with no sale or cash value. Coins and coin unlocks are stored on this device; cross-device transfer is not supported.
