About
Two Tongues is a translation keyboard that lets you message someone in their language, right inside the apps you already use. Type in your own language, tap Translate, and the translated text drops into the message field, ready to send. Everything happens on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking. What you type is processed on your device to translate it, held only briefly in memory, and never logged, stored, or sent anywhere. WHAT IT DOES Type in your language and translate into another without leaving your chat. It works in the messaging apps you already use. Translation runs on-device using Apple's built-in translation engine, so the words you translate never go to a translation server. FEATURES - Swipe typing: glide across the keys to type. - Long-press for accents: hold a letter for its variants like ä, ö, ü, ß, ë, ç, and more. - Space-bar trackpad: hold the space bar and slide to move the cursor through your text. - Personal glossary: keep names and terms translated exactly the way you want. - Switch languages right from the keyboard. PRIVACY - No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads. - The keyboard contains no networking code at all. - Translation runs locally on your device. ABOUT "ALLOW FULL ACCESS" Two Tongues asks for "Allow Full Access" for one reason: Apple keeps its on-device translator behind that setting for keyboards, so the keyboard cannot translate without it. The keyboard has no networking code and does not read your pasteboard; it uses Full Access solely to reach Apple's on-device translator.
