The TEF IRN (Test d'Évaluation de Français, Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité) is published by Le Français des Affaires (CCI Paris Île-de-France). It is used for French residency and citizenship applications: naturalisation (B2), the resident card (B1) and the multi-year residence permit (A2). It is the alternative to the TCF IRN. Four papers, 1 h 30 in total, scored 0 to 499 per paper. Prépa TEF IRN trains you on the test format in force since 1 April 2025, up to the level your application requires.
