• Alarms have been rebuilt: an alarm whose switch is on now always rings at its time. Fixed alarms that failed to ring on time, or rang all at once in the small hours. • An alarm that looked switched on in the previous version but was never actually set now shows as off. Turn it on again to have it ring; the app tells you once if any are found. • "Once" alarms are gone. Leave the weekdays unselected and the alarm rings every day. • iPhone Duo is now supported: closed, open or half-folded, the watch and its icons arrange themselves to suit. • The familiar can now be sent to sleep and woken again. When asked to silence a bell, it now stops only your alarms — never the timer or the Rite of Waking.

About
Kaikoku is a classic × chuuni pocket-watch alarm app — built from a notebook the developer wrote in junior high and rediscovered decades later. An antique pocket watch hangs from a real-physics chain in your palm. Snap the hunter lid shut and power gathers; open it and the day is unsealed. By night, wind the dial to cast one of twelve zodiac arcana. By day the sun seals your sorcery — six solar arts answer instead. Shut the lid and wind, and six seal-curses act upon the lid itself. Rites await: cover the sensor to summon a fleeting night; touch a torn page of forbidden curses and the watch examines its keeper by Face ID — the owner unseals the chapter, while a stranger is shown a magic circle bearing an inviting sigil. Spin too far — thirty-six turns, one full day of the arcane world — and the chain sunders, until you resummon the watch by rite. It keeps real time too: alarms with six bells, a magic hourglass timer, a chronograph with Live Activities, an Apple Watch companion that resonates with your pocket watch, widgets, StandBy, and a wall-pinned grimoire recording your deeds and chants. On iPhone Duo the watch follows the fold: closed, open or half-folded, the dial and its chambers arrange themselves to suit each pose. Every spell, art, and bell is free. Ads help keep the watch wound — forge the Pact (lifelong or monthly) to still them for good, or invoke a brief Farsight rite to send them away for a while. Time is no stream, but an illusion dwelling in the heart. The one true magic is to carve the now.
