Dangerous behavior in road traffic usually goes without consequences — because evidence is missing and witnesses never find each other. Gegenverkehr changes that. YOUR INCIDENT RECORD Capture an incident right away, while the memory is fresh: description, photos, place and time — or simply speak what happened, with live on-device transcription. Every report gets a case number. LINKED REPORTS Reports about the same vehicle are linked — so affected people and witnesses find each other, and your own documentation becomes more robust. Didn't catch the plate? Reports are matched by place and time instead. FIND WITNESSES Report an incident with an active call for witnesses — others can offer to testify right on your report. You get a notification as soon as a matching incident is filed: same plate, or same place and time. JOIN FORCES People affected by the same vehicle can get in touch — contact details are only shared once both sides explicitly agree. PRIVACY FIRST Your identity and your location are never visible to others. Reports are stored anonymized; voice recordings stay on your device and are only uploaded encrypted when you attach them to a report. We believe in cities where people come first — not cars. Note: the app UI is currently German-only.
