I built My Neurodiversity Card because explaining what I need in the moment — mid-meltdown, mid-shutdown, or just mid-overwhelm — is exactly when I have the least capacity to find the words. This app puts a clear, calm message in front of the person you're talking to, instantly. Whether you're Autistic, have ADHD, are AuDHD, or support someone who is, you can hand over your phone (or let them read your screen) instead of trying to explain your needs out loud under pressure. Why I made this Neurodivergent needs shift depending on the day, the environment, and the person in front of you. I wanted something that adapts with you — not a single static card, but a set of ready-made messages for the situations that actually happen: medical appointments, workplaces, exams, public encounters, and airports. What it does Choose your condition — Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD — and your Primary Card updates to reflect how that specific combination affects you A dedicated Overwhelmed / Shutting Down card for the moments you need it most, asking clearly for space, quiet, and patience Situational cards for Medical, Workplace, School/Exam, Public, and Airport/Travel settings — turn on only the ones relevant to your life Write your own custom card in Settings, in your own words — and even swap it in as your Primary Card if that fits you better On-device translation lets you show your message in another language while travelling, without sending your data anywhere Read-aloud support speaks your card for you, in the language you've selected Full control in Settings — toggle any card on or off, set your home and travelling language, and edit your custom message any time Not every disability is visible. This app exists to make the invisible a little easier to explain — quickly, calmly, and on your own terms.
