BokehScope is an app that lets you preview camera background blur (Bokeh). You can preview how background blur changes by adjusting the positional relationship between the camera, subject, and background, as well as sensor size, focal length, and aperture. Sensor size options include medium format, full frame, APS-C, 4/3-type, 1-inch, and 1/1.7-type. Focal length can be adjusted from 16mm to 800mm, and f-number from F1.2 to F22. You can also freely combine 4 types of subjects with 8 types of backgrounds for simulation. Many people understand that lowering the f-number creates more background blur, but there are fewer opportunities to see how sensor size, focal length, subject distance, and background distance affect bokeh. With BokehScope, you can visually try these differences and develop a better feel for background blur. Recommended for anyone who wants to preview bokeh before shooting photos, or better understand how lenses, sensor size, and distance affect the final look. * This app is a simulation tool, so results should be used as a reference only.
