Custoda files the item away, learns roughly how long it keeps, and reminds you before it goes off — so the yoghurt at the back of the fridge and the painkillers in the drawer never surprise you again. A small but mighty tune-up: • We used to think "lactose-free" meant "dairy-free." A cow would like a word — lactose-free milk still has milk in it, so we stopped handing it a dairy-free pass. • "Fish fingers" kept trying to move into the pantry.
