About
Glo is the fastest, simplest period tracker — completely private and offline-first. No accounts. No cloud sync. No data collection. Just you and your cycle, kept safe on your phone. Unlike other period trackers, Glo doesn't try to predict, analyse, or personalise your data. It does one thing well: let you record and remember your periods without handing over your health data to anyone. Core Features Period tracking in seconds Log your period, cycle, flow (light/medium/heavy), and optional notes on mood, cramps, energy, or anything else you want to remember. Tap the button on your Home Screen or Lock Screen widget to start or end in one action. See your cycle at a glance Monthly calendar view highlights your period days. Chronological history shows cycle length, flow patterns, and duration over time. Recognize your own patterns without algorithms predicting them for you. Track what matters to you Add optional notes: cramps, PMS, mood, skin, sleep, energy, cravings, discharge, or anything else. No required symptom checklist. Just what you want to track. Calendar sync & free export Export periods to Apple Calendar with custom reminders (same day or one day before). Download your full data as ICS or JSON anytime. Your data is never locked in. Your data, your device Everything stays on your phone. Glo works offline. No backend. No accounts. No servers knowing when you menstruate. GDPR-compliant because there's no cloud. Glo is for women who want the fastest, most private way to track their period, cycle length, flow, and patterns — without handing over health data or paying a subscription. Data Privacy (the real difference) Your data never leaves your phone. Glo has no backend, no cloud sync, and no data collection. You're not the product. There's no algorithm learning from your cycle to sell insights to advertisers or pharmaceutical companies. We're not venture-backed. We don't need your data to survive. FAQ — What Glo is (and isn't) Is Glo a fertility tracker or ovulation predictor? No. Glo logs your period, cycle length, and flow patterns so you can see your own cycle. We don't predict ovulation windows, fertile windows, or conception timing. If you need fertility planning or ovulation tracking, that requires a specialized algorithm — use a dedicated fertility app for that. What about pregnancy tracking or perimenopause? Not in version 1.0. Glo currently focuses on period tracking. Pregnancy and perimenopause modes are on the roadmap but not in MVP. Can Glo track contraception methods (pill, IUD, ring, patch)? You can add birth control info in period notes if you want to remember which method you're using, but Glo doesn't have a dedicated contraception tracker. That's a planned feature. Can I connect wearables (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura, WHOOP, Withings)? Not in version 1.0. Wearable integration (heart rate, temperature, sleep data) is planned for a future release. What symptoms can I track? Optional notes on: cramps, PMS, pain, mood, energy, cravings, skin, sleep, discharge, or anything else you want to remember. No mandatory 200+ item questionnaire — just what matters to you. Does Glo replace my doctor? No. Glo is a tracking tool, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to your healthcare provider about anything concerning — period irregularity, heavy bleeding, severe cramps, reproductive health decisions. Why no predictions or algorithms? Because your data is safer when it stays on your device. Predictions require sending your cycle data to servers, which means it's not private anymore. Glo keeps algorithms off your phone. Why no cloud sync or app accounts? Accounts mean servers. Servers mean your reproductive health data leaves your device. Glo works offline, on your phone only, GDPR-compliant by design. What if I want my data back? Export as full JSON anytime. Every period you logged is yours to keep and share. We can't lock you in because we're not a service — we're a tool you own.
