Swap Nearby is a neighborhood community for bartering and sharing the things you no longer use. Find items near you, swap them for something you need, or give them away — and keep good things out of the landfill. BARTER FIRST Trade item for item with neighbors. We encourage bartering, and use in-app Credits only as a supplement when there is no perfect match. CREDITS, NOT CASH Credits are simple in-app exchange points. They are not money: they cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or sold, and they have no real-currency value. Swap Nearby is a community, not a payment app. FREE GIVEAWAYS List things to give away for free to a neighbor who needs them. SAFE & FRIENDLY Meet in public places, inspect items in person, and never pay in advance. The app reminds you of safety basics and flags risky messages.
