Major New Features Active Navigation ("Start Journey"): You can now experience Ambia in real-time. Tap "Start Journey" and the map camera will dynamically zoom in, follow your live location, and align with your heading as you walk. Introducing "Wonder Mode": Need to clear your head? Tell Ambia your current mood and how much time you have. Our engine will generate a custom, circular walking loop starting from your exact location, weaving you through restorative spaces designed to reset your nervous system. Ambia Sanctuaries: We’ve expanded our mapping to include positive, restorative spaces. Discover "Ambia Sanctuaries" like acoustic refuges, botanical gardens, and biophilic interiors—rendered on your map as calming, faded circles. Universal Inclusion Tags: You can now filter the map and routes by specific accessibility needs, including Low-Stimulation (Neurodivergent), Wheelchair/Mobility access, Tactile/Low-Vision, and Caregiver-friendly spaces. Cognitive Decluttering & Design Sensory-First Cartography: We’ve completely overhauled the map’s visual psychology. Sensory Friction points (things to avoid) are now crisp, solid squares, while Sanctuaries (things to seek) are soft circles. You can instantly read the environment without straining your eyes. The 15-Minute Rule: To prevent visual overwhelm, the map now only renders sensory data within a 15-minute walk of your active route. Ambient Discovery: If there are hidden Sanctuaries nearby, a subtle "More sensory data nearby" pill will appear. Expand your radius with one tap, or keep your map peacefully decluttered. Community & Profiles Seamless Accounts: Securely create an Ambia profile using Sign in with Apple, Google, or Email to save your sensory preferences and favorite Sanctuaries across devices. Community Logging: Found a perfectly quiet courtyard or a severely noisy construction zone? You can now log spaces directly on the map and choose to share them with the Ambia community. (All shared spaces are vetted by the Regenrtiv moderation team to ensure data quality). Improvements & Bug Fixes Shadow Corridors: We engineered a brand new way to display dynamic urban shadows. Export Routes: Added the ability to export your sensory route waypoints to Apple Maps or Google Maps. UI Polish: Fixed an issue with drop-shadow legibility in Dark Mode, restored the long-press gesture for dropping map pins, and refined the search bar to elegantly collapse into a turn-by-turn navigation pill.
