The Chart tab is now a full chart plotter for Norwegian waters. • Auto route — pick a destination and KnotMeter searches Kartverket's depth data for a way through at your boat's safety depth. It refuses rather than guesses, and tells you what it checked and what it could not. • Depth shading and soundings, with your own depth bands and your safety depth marked. • Shallow-water look-ahead that watches the water in front of the boat, not just under it. • Ships nearby — live AIS from Kystverket, with a collision warning. • Chart guide — every colour, buoy, light and symbol on the chart explained in plain English, with a Show me button. • More layers: seabed relief, bridges and cables with clearance, lights and buoys, fishing rules, fish farms, nature reserves, lake depths and Apple satellite imagery. • Waypoints, routes, tracks and GPX, anchor watch, and a man-overboard button that explains itself before you need it. • Harbour and anchorage descriptions from Den norske los, and place search. • Offline chart packs, a 3D view, and depth from your own instruments over Wi-Fi. With more than one boat, the Speed tab now shows which boat you are recording to and switches in one tap, and the leaderboard shows your name in full with the boat number beside it. Norway only.
