About
Cozy audio stories your child can listen to anywhere, shaped to fit the moment. Gentle Tales is a calm story app made for parents. Browse a free library of timeless tales, see exactly what each story is about before you press play, then get it ready for bedtime, nap time, or a long drive. Every story is read aloud in a warm, gentle voice. You stay in control: choose the language, the length, how soft or adventurous it should be, and who the hero is. What you can do: • Listen to soothing retellings of classics from Aesop, Grimm, Andersen, and beloved folk tales • Know before you play: each story shows its length, themes, and how calm or exciting it is • Make a story your own: change the language, shorten or lengthen it, soften the scary parts, or swap in a favorite character • Download for offline listening, so stories keep playing on flights, road trips, and dead zones • Start a story from the car screen with CarPlay, or from the Continue Listening widget • Play in the background with lock screen and car Bluetooth controls • Set a sleep timer and adjust the reading speed • Keep favorites and recently played close at hand In the car: Gentle Tales began on a long drive, with a five year old in the back and nothing good to play. Download the stories you want before you leave, then start one from the car screen without picking up your phone. Downloaded stories sit at the top, so the drive keeps going when the signal stops. Made for parents, gentle for kids: You preview every story, so you always know what your child will hear. No noisy games, no bright screens to fight over at bedtime. Just calm storytelling you can trust, in the languages your family speaks. Perfect for bedtime wind-downs, quiet nap time, screen-free car rides, and calm moments anywhere. Bring story time with you. Download Gentle Tales and press play. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
